James Hillman

Filmmaker, Director, and Cinematographer.

James started photography at age 13 and had early success getting his work published in Western Horseman Magazine, then later in Western Living, Eat Magazine and commercial work for Komatsu and P&H Mining Equipment.

In 2004 James transitioned into professional videography & production services, working first as a cooking show host with Omni Productions, then as the host and second unit camera man on the travel show Around the World On Horseback. This show was shot on location in North America, Iceland and Europe. Since then, he has grown his services and now specializes in promotional content, music videos, documentaries, and outdoor adventure productions. Over the past 18 years, James has worked with everyone from small local businesses and charities to large corporations. Clients include; The Fernie Arts Station, Teck, Komatsu, Shred Kelly, Leather Apron Revival, Mount Rushka, and P&H Mining Equipment.

As part of his service to clients, James likes to bring his small community attitude to his work. At all times, he maintains a professional, friendly, and personal attitude. He regularly sends progress reports while editing and is always available for changes during post-production.
